FIND YOUR WINGS

It's only for a moment you are mine to hold
The plans that heaven has for you
Will all too soon unfold
So many different prayers I'll pray
For all that you might do
But most of all I'll want to know
You're walking in the truth
And If I never told you
I want you to know
As I watch you grow

Chorus:

I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams
And that faith gives you the courage
To dare to do great things
I'm here for you whatever this life brings
So let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings

May passion be the wind
That leads you through your days
And may conviction keep you strong
Guide you on your way
May there be many moments
That make your life so sweet
Oh, but more than memories

Chorus:

It's not living if you don't reach for the sky
I'll have tears as you take off
But I'll cheer as you fly

Dear God

I want to know you Lord
You are a great Big God
I’m young and do not know a lot
Come and be my all
I want to love you more
Giving you my life and all
You died for me you sacrificed
I won't forget you Lord

I love you Jesus
I’ll grow up knowing you
I love you Jesus
I’ll grow up serving you
I love you Jesus
My life was saved by You
I’ll never forget, never forget
I’ll grow up loving you

A PRAYER

Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now.

I am asking you to minister to their spirit at this very moment.

Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy.

Where there is self-doubting,
release a renewed confidence in your ability to work through them.

Where there is tiredness,
I ask you to give them understanding,
patience and strength as they learn submission to your leading.

Where there is spiritual stagnation,
I ask you to renew them by revealing Your nearness
and by drawing them into greater intimacy with you.

Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold oer my friends life.

Bless their finances, give them greater vision,
and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them.

Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them,
and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it.

I ask You to do these things in JESUS NAME.

Amen!

UNIFY

You reached out and rescued me...
answer to my dreams
and love hung on a cross so we could meet....

calmed my restlesness...
words fail to express...
there's no where I would rather be than with you..

the whole earth fall on it's knees...
at the sound of your beautiful name
and all the voices in the world unify today
to bring you this song of praise..

I call on you my king...
you open your arms to me
and embrace me like a father to a child

1 Corinthians 13

Love

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

One Thing I Know

Something in your eyes I see
Reminds me of what used to be
When I was still uncertain of the truthh
Sleepless nights that turned to days
Alone inside an endless space
Counting on someone to see me through

CHORUS:
And if there's one thing I know
It's that you were never left alone
'Cause you can always count on Jesus' name
And if there's one thing I pray
It's that Jesus helps you find a way
To make a change and listen to your heart
God will take away your pain if you choose to let it go
if there's one thing I know

How can I convince your heart?
His light can find you in the dark
And only He can make your blind eyes see

For if we speak of lost things found
Or lives that have been turned around
Then tell me who knows better child than me

CHORUS

BRIDGE:
I would never state my life on any lesser thing
Then the cross of Christ where He gave His life to ease my suffering

CHORUS

A Story About Prayer

A man's daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her father.

When the minister arrived, she found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows.

An empty chair sat beside his bed. The minister assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit. "I guess you were expecting me," he said. "No, who are you?" said the father.

"I'm the new minister at your church," she replied. "When I saw the empty chair, I figured you knew I was going to come." "Oh yeah, the chair," said the bedridden man. "Would you mind closing the door?" Puzzled, the minister shut the door. "I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter," said the man.

"But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head. I abandoned any attempt at prayer," the old man continued, "until one day about four years ago my best friend said to me, 'John, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus.

Here is what I suggest. Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in

front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It's not spooky because He promised, "I'll be with youalways." Then just speak to him in the same way you're doing with me right now."

So, I tried it and I've liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I'm careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she'd either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.

" The minister was deeply moved by the story & encouraged the old man to continue on the journey. Then she prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church.

Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her daddy had died that afternoon. "Did he die in peace?" she asked. "Yes, when I left the house about two o' clock, he called me over bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him dead. But there was something strange about his death.

Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed. "What do you make of that?" The minister wiped a tear from her eye and said,

"I wish we could all go like that." "So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.

That is why we live by believing and not by seeing. We live by faith, not by sight."

Hold Me Jesus!

Hold Me Jesus!

Sometimes my life just don't make sense at all.
When the mountain looks so big and my faith just seems so small.

So Hold Me Jesus,
'Cause I'm shakin' like a leaf.
You have been King of my Glory.
Won't You be my Prince of Peace?

Surrender don't come natural to me.
I'd rather fight You for sometning I don't really want
than I've beat my head against so many walls,
I'm falling down, falling on my kness...
God, please.
And the Salvation Army band is playing this hymn,
And Your grace rings out so deep.
It makes my resistance seem so thin.

So Hold Me Jesus,
'Cause I'm shakin like a leaf.
You have been King of my Glory.
Won't You be my Prince of Peace?

I CHOOSE TO LOVE

JOHN 15:11-13

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

HE CHOOSE TO LOVE ME!

Everybody is entitled to love. Each and everyday we must wake up and choose to love.
When we choose to love, we are choosing to accept this person as another one of God's children.
I ask God for the strength for me to choose to love everyday and expect nothing in return, and to help me to open my heart to the gift of love.

How about you? What "CHOICE" have you made today?

Whatever challenges you face in your life,
believe you'll turn every experience into something positive.
When you have serious questions you need to answer or emotions you need to process,
know that all of you will take each of your time and do the right thing.
Even though there may be times when each one of you will be dissatisfied with the way things are going in your life, know you'll learn and eventually make changes you need to make and move on. You don't have to be perfect or to be the smartest person in the world to dream.
You don't have to know all the answers to make your dreams come true.
Dreams are free, but they belong to the dreamer who'll take a chance.
So let your imagination takes you that PERFECT PLACE where there is nothing to be afraid of an you can have anything you want. Prepare yourself. Knock on the door of opportunity,
and be ready when it answers. Celebrate all the the possibilities.
Your future is full of hope and happy times, fantasies, and lessons to learn.
Learn them weel. Enjoy each one of them. Believe that all things are possible.
Reach for your stars and go for your dreams.
