I Don't Want To Go

You changed my world
When You came to me
You drove a passion
In my soul down deep
Lord, to follow You in everything

I don't want to go somewhere
If I know that You're not there
'Cause I know that me without You is a lie
And I don't want to walk that road
Be a million miles from home
'Cause my heart needs to be where You are
So I don't want to go

So come whatever
I'll stick with You
I'll walk, You'll lead me
Call me crazy or a fool
For forever I promise you that...

Repeat Chorus

Without Your touch
Without Your love
Filling me like an ocean
For Your grace is enough
Enough for me
To never want to go somewhere
If I know that You're not there

Repeat Chorus

The Power of Faith - What God can do with 57 cents

A little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was "too crowded." "I can't go to Sunday School," she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by.

Seeing her shabby, unkempt appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking her by the hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday school class. The child was so happy that they found room for her, and she went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship Jesus.

Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement buildings. Her parents called for the kindhearted pastor who had befriended their daughter to handle the final arrangements. As her poor little body was being moved, a crumpled red purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged from some trash dump.

Inside was found 57 cents and a note, scribbled in childish handwriting, which read: "This is to help build the little church bigger so more children can go to Sunday School."

For two years she had saved for this offering of love.

When the pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked, red pocketbook to the pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion.

He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger building. But the story does not end there....

A newspaper learned of the story and published it. It was read by a wealthy realtor who offered them a parcel of land worth many thousands. When told that the church could not pay so much, he offered to sell it to the little church for 57 cents.

Church members made large donations. Checks came from far and wide. Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00- -a huge sum for that time (near the turn of the century). Her unselfish love had paid large dividends.

When you are in the city of Philadelphia , look up Temple Baptist Church , with a seating capacity of 3,300. And be sure to visit Temple University, where thousands of students are educated.

Have a look, too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday School building which houses hundreds of beautiful children, built so that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday school time.

In one of the rooms of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history. Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russell H. Conwell, author of the book, "Acres of Diamonds".

This is a true story, which goes to show WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS.

THE POWER OF FAITH

When we believe the truths in God’s Word we find release from the curses on us. We have a peace, joy, satisfaction and hope that cannot be experienced by those who do not believe. God’s Word is truth, so please believe these promises and find the relief you need.

If we will give our life to Jesus, He will take care of all our problems. But we must ask in faith without doubting for when we doubt we are like a wave of the sea driven in all directions and tossed about. The person who doubts has a mind that is of two opinions and therefor he is unstable in all his ways. (See James 1:6-8)

THROUGH FAITH:

Through FAITH all my needs are supplied.
“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
“Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.” Psalm 23:1

Through FAITH I have no fears.
“For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7
Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Through FAITH Satan is defeated by Christ dwelling in me.
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
“Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:14

Through FAITH I have access to the wisdom of God.
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.” James 1:5

Through FAITH I have no worries.
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
“Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?” Matthew 6:28-30

Through FAITH I am not condemned therefor my guilt feelings are gone.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.“ Romans 8:1,2

Through FAITH I am not lonely.
“Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20
"I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

Through FAITH I do not have bad luck or good luck for God guides my steps.
“A man's heart plans his course, But Yahweh directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Through FAITH I am content with my life as it is now.
“Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5,6
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.” 1 Timothy 6:6-8

Through FAITH in Christ I conqueror all the troubles I may pass through.
No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39
“I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Through FAITH I rejoice when I am persecuted for Christ’s sake.
"Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11,12
